This kitchen/diner floor tiling job involved removing all the old terracotta tiles. I always start by removing the middle tiles to relieve the tension and this makes it easier to remove the rest. You can’t just lay new floor tiles at this point, you need to ensure a really clean and level surface, so I scraped off all the old adhesive and then added a layer of latex.
The new porcelain black & white patterned tile design needed to be planned carefully to make sure it looked beautiful throughout the space, as you can see from the photos.
