Kitchen/Dining Room Underfloor Heating and Tiling Reigate

I completed this job at a residential property in the Surrey town of Reigate recently. The client wanted new tiling throughout their kitchen/dining room, but also required an electric underfloor heating system to ensure the room stays warm and comfortable during those cold winter months. I was of course more than happy to help.

Firstly we laid Warmup insulation boards, an essential step in ensuring the heating system is as energy-efficient as possible. Warmup boards prevent heat from escaping down through the subfloor, significantly reducing the heat-up times and running costs of underfloor heating. With the insulation in place, I then installed the electrical underfloor heating system.

Following this I had to latex the floor in order to achieve a neat, level surface. After this had dried, I was able to get to work laying the stunning 600 x 600mm porcelain tiles. These tiles transformed the space, blending style and functionality in equal measure with a flooring solution that will benefit the homeowner with its fantastic longevity.
